I got the top to pop off, but the bottom didn't seem to come off just
pulling on it, and I couldn't find tabs to release like I did on the
top.
There are three tabs on my 126, including one on the bottom. If
you break the bail by pulling on it too hard, you'll be sorry!
Half of my lower bail
needs a flex disk I believe as it seems to be whumping a bit from a
standstill but then quiets down after the initial start, will get that
sorted soon.
That's usually the driveline center bearing carrier, but
that's an excellent time to examine the disks for replacement
since you have to
climate control fan has stopped working, time to check the fuses.
Kick the fan housing under the dash. If that does it, it's
probably fan brushes.

I have a guage set that screws onto the 134 fittings, but if you remove
the 134 fittings, the hoses will screw onto the r12 fittings on the car.
