RH e' una softwarehose americana, mentre MDK e' europea (come SuSE)

First impression is that the whole package is very nice. The installer is

I'm guessing that this is not the problem because 1. It's worked fine
with Mandake 9.0 and 2. I got to a graphical desktop (as root only)
after I modified the XF86Config file (see 3rd try).

I agree. The only thing I've found broken thus far is a menu entry for licq
(kde) without the qt plugin being installed.
By far the best Linux install I've seen.
