Folks, I installed Apache 2.00 from mandrake linux 10.00 I tried to search the directory htdocs in apache installation. I could not locate the apache installation directory.. I tried using find options but I did not. Can anybody please let me know where apache is installed by default ?? Thanks,

E What is xinetd? xinetd is an enhanced version of inetd (internet daemon), which is basically a wrapper for other internet daemons. You can use xinetd to run FTP, BIND, Apache, etc. The benefit as opposed to standalone is that since everything goes through xinetd, you can tweak it more.
