Right click on desktop
Select 'create NewCDROM device'
Pick a name for it. In Device Tab use drop down menu to select which device
you want, and enter the correct mount point for that device in the mount
point window.
Thats it.. dead easy.

Okay, I've finally (I think!) gotten my XawTV icon to disappear from my normal
users desktop.
I had to go into (as root/su):
/etc/dynamic
and either /hooks, /launchers, or /scripts had an icon/script for XawTV. I
deleted it, and so far grin, its not reappeared. XawTV still works fine
too...so.
