i have a problem with mandrake 10. when trying to run anything using 3d
graphics the system freezes. i have installed kernel modules for nvidia
and glx module from the distributive; also nvidia 1.0-5336 driver. on
the other hand it works ok with the kernel 2.4.25.

program on your system called "xmixer" -- it is a volume
control app. It will show you whether or not the CD sound
