Yves, yes, they are external IDs. But so are wikipedia titles. Visually inspecting Wikipedia tile does not provide you with any way to verify its correctness - you have to look in the external data source (WP). As for entering by hand - just like you shouldn't enter Wikipedia articles by hand -
