In OOo 2.3 installed from the official OOo Debian packages on Ubuntu Feisty, I cannot configure OOo to use the native KDE open/save file dialogs. I go to Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - General and there is supposed to be a checkbox labeled Use OpenOffice.org Dialogs that I can disable.
