so you can't from ROMMON. You must have a VLAN up and running or it
will not work. since you apparently have a boot image in bootflash

if the remote side of the frame connection goes down, you will still be
up up to your local switch. since I think 10.2 or 3 you can backup the

To be honest about the only way to isolate these meltdowns is to
start disconnecting devices. I assume you have a general idea where the
problem is occuring. The flatter your network the more difficult I

What do you see in your log? How about a sh mem? If it is a memory
problem it is not the lack of flash that would cause this. If your not
on the console trying doing as a "term mon" and reissue the sh runn and
see if your getting errors.

Try different baud rates until the garbage becomes legible is my
guess. Your config-reg is likely changed though without a password it
is difficult to view.
