Owain, If you don't have a lightweight optical mouse, I highly recommend getting one. They are much easier on the hand and wrist than a conventional mouse. I have the Logitech optical mouse w/scroll wheel, and a Kensington mousepad with gel wrist support, and this has made a huge difference.
