It switches between devices fine and I find it very comfortable to type on.
However, first of all, when pairing I got the unable to identify keyboard
dialog one gets with some keyboards and I had to touch the keys

use printer pro to get my print printer to work from the iPad. So while I
didn't think it would work, I decided to try the same with the braille index
printer. The connection apparently is actually made and

Okay, if I do cmd-so after scanning, then I get more choices for formats,
including txt. And yes, I am now getting results (sigh of relief for having
spent $99). It seems a bit more complicated than using vuescan and Finereader
Express but the scan results are definitely good.

While I realize that braille on the Mac still has plenty of room for
improvement, i am still glad to have it. For one thing, to say that it is
behind even compared to other graphical screenreaders fails to acknowledge
that most of the other screenreaders have been under development for years
I think that the best way to approach this with people who don't actually use
braille is to give concrete examples of what you cannot now do with the braille
and what you want to do with it. Then if possible explain something about how
that would work or how it can be done. Even with people who
