Looking at Google Maps today, I noticed that they added the subway
stations in Toronto, Canada. But most of them are in the wrong place -
sometimes up to 2km away from the correct location - or missing
completely.
I can say from my experience of teaching IT concepts to very smart
people (i.e. until recently I was an IT support manager at a large
uni) that this namespacing stuff is a step too far for most people.

ich habe auch schon Fans gefunden, erst gestern abend wieder. In ein
paar Monaten wirds eine Karte geben, die sich hauptsächlich diesen
widmet. Wahrscheinlich eine Fahrradkarte, die auch Kopfsteinpflaster
berücksichtigt.

Ich hab mir die TracksOnly-Datei von Christoph Eckert heruntergeladen,
um sie lokal zu editieren.
Allerdings bekomme ich nun ein Problem mit den Icons.

Man kann doch in den Preferences eine beliebige Location seines
Style-Files angeben? Das aus dem .jar wird nur benutzt, wenn man use

Napadlo me, ze k rozsireni mez verejnost by pomohla lokalizace JOSM do cestiny.
Rad se pridam, ale nevim jak nato. Kdysi jsem si vymenil par emailu s
vyvojarem, moc jsem nepochopil editaci toho lang balicku.
Kdyztak piste sve nazory, jestli ma cenu lokalizovat ( dle me ma ) a kdyztak
Ja myslim ze samotne rozhrani programu v anglictine neni az takovy
problem. Daleko horsi mi pripadnou anglicke nazvy tagu. Myslim ze by
vice pomohla ceska verze menu Presets, vcetna polozek jako Mistni
komunikace III. tridy nebo Obytna zona.

V JOSM je tlacitko upload (hned vedle download. Tam ke napada, stahnul jsi
napred okolni data? Takze si projistotu projdeme cely postup:)
1) Spustim JOSM
2) Otevru gpx soubor
3) Nazoomuju
Myslim, ze by pro zacatek pomohlo presne urceni (v cestine), co se jak
taguje
kterym tagem v anglictine. Z toho, co jsem prochazel archivy diskuse a co je

wiki mi prijde, ze v tom jsou jeste urcite rezervy.

A jeste jedna vec,
jak napojit na posledni bod silnice tak, aby se to nedostalo pod jeden
tag? Urcite vite o cem mluvim? Nebo jestli to jde nejak otocit smer sipky?

Created by ja je blbost - tag created vytvari JOSM sam a nepatri tam jmeno
uzivatele, ale program, ve kterem byl prislusny kus dat vytvoren. To, co
te zajima, je tag author a zajimat te opet nemusi, protoze jej opet
automaticky vytvari JOSM.

created_by je automaticky generovany editorem (JOSM tam,
kupodivu, da JOSM ;-)
Uzivatel ktery danou entitu vyrobil/modifikoval je zaznamenan
automaticky jako vlastnost
Takze staci highway a name jo? A autora tam teda automaticky prida Josm
Jinak Dik, assi bych to nikde nenasel:))
