enclosure with a 30 GB hard drive. I use CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) that
is one of the best pieces of freeware that I have ever seen. I backup

swapping the powerbook. I had a 520 powerbook (yes an old 68xxx) that I
regret sometimes for selling on E-Bay. I spent more on cables (scsi,
video, serial) then I did

problem. A couple of times after it wakes up from sleep mode the
keyboard does not work. The CAPSLOCK and NUMLOCK light up when I press
them but no text shows up on the screen. I have my Mac set up to prompt
for a password after it

powered HD. My solution was to go to Otherworld and get a FW PC card.
Of course, with the PC Card it will only sync, but not charge as PC
card ports don't supply power.

The 15" and 17" PowerBooks are much wider machines than the 12", but
the 14"
and make the whole
thing
weigh 3lbs or less. I'd pay current 12" AlBook prices for such a
machine,
and I'd wager a lot of other people would too (though probably very
few on
this list).

Thanks for the quick response. Yeah, might be a silly question, but
you know how finicky winblows machines can be, so I thought I'd drop in
the question just the same, seeing as how NOTHING I've ever done on
that PC was easy.

just go to wally world and buy clear removable contact paper and use
that, just cut to fit ;)
