Sounds like a $3700 piece of junk to me! However, it can run on biodiesel,
and it also uses 1-2qts between oil changes! He should have said that the
new own would need to be someone who revives old jumkers rather than someone

$1200 for a TD Turbo Diesel wagon in decent running condition? If that was
near Portland OR, I would jump on it However, if it really was nere
near me, it would be at least 3 times that as there's a 1982 for sale for

dress (R100RTS), and one of their friends had an R100RS. There was a 1963?

SD's don't seem to bring NEARLYYY the money that 300TDt's do, even
exceptionally well kept low mileage examples. There's a 1982 with 158K
miles on it right now with an asking price of $6K, smooth runner, lots of
new parts, everything works, uses no oil, .
I've seen 300tD's with similar mileage to yours for $5K or so. The
maintenance records would make quite a difference, and the rust wouldn't be
too much of a concern if properly repaired.

Mine would have a similar rating since the interior and paint are quite
nice, but it needs other things. AC compressor is seized with belt removed,
and one of the passenger's side ball joints (probably the lower one) squeaks

won't restore it.

A few years ago, My dad and I had a '79 Mercury Bobcat AKA Ford Pinto (don't
laugh!). It was a fine original car that needed a few minor things, but the
2.3L 4 cyl engine ran very well with 131Kmi on it. It needed shocks, but I
had no idea about the bad ball joints until we jacked it up. The

the car. The pump goes until it times out (30 seconds IIRC), but nothing
happens other than the fuel door locking (found this out when attempting to
