It seems counterintuitive to not have it checked in order to know when
to restart to complete update (??). Craig, understand that it takes
time, but will Material not flag an update if auto update is checked?

yea, mine works fine for both Tidal and my library. Both if a just click
ahead, or drag and drop in the progress bar.
What's weird is what you describe is similar to my issues with podcasts
prior to reliable/persistent.

Forgive me if I am missing something obvious.
Using material 2.9.1 apk on android tablet, in desktop mode (browse and
now playing windows), I cannot move the dividing bar between the two
windows. Right now, the browse takes 3/4 of the screen and 1/4 to now
