the SB3 and either DAC. My cd transport is a CEC TL-51X. My DAC's are a CIAudio VDA-2 and a Lavry DA-10. I've tried many combinations of cables (both optical and co-ax). The CEC always sounds better. -- SatoriGFX

at the extremes etc... The SB3 doesn't sound bad but after hearing the CEC I can't dismiss the differences. It's easy to hear the differences with my current DAC. I do believe that the higher jitter of the SB3 is responsible. -- SatoriGFX
