Hi,
It looks like the IOS has given you the answer: "Command rejected: One
or more ports is already configured as a trunk port."
And the documentation confirms that you cannot configure multi-VLAN and
trunk ports on the same 2900XL/3500XL switch. See:

I'm concerned about the output errors. Collisions are not considered output

The short answer is no.
Server1 requests a file from Server2.

Very nice article, Andy. Unfortunately, the hyperlinks didn't post with the
article (things like "you can see the xxx here" has no link). Most links I
can chase down, but there are a few I can't discern. Do you have a copy of
the aricle with links that you are allowed to send? If so, I'd appreciate

I've been playing around with MRTG - Multi Router Traffic Grapher. And I
highly recommend it if you'd like a way to monitor traffic load on router
interfaces. Very easy to set up and get going. It's open source and
versions for unix and windows are available.
You can check it out here - www.mrtg

checked it. Originally it was a programming interface on IBM PCs. I did some
network programming with NetBIOS back in 1989... yes, old man...

cut down IOS that (hopefully) recognises most of your devices (useful if
you need to use tftp) and then tries to load the main IOS.
You shouldnt need to upgrade the bootflash, although I would make sure you
