Hey all, my normal user account is in the portage group( i even checked
/etc/group), however, whenever i use my account to do some emergeing ( short
of compiling) i always get that "not part of portage group" error. Has anyone

I just re-configured the gentoo-network for a dinamic IP network.
It was some time that I didn't emerge anything, so I checked what's new
and I installed libsdtc++ gcc and glibc
while installing glibc konquerror started to don't work, it cannot reach

days it looks like it was reset after getting to some value (3-4 days, i

It was working perfectly before and today I have only performed four
updates:
* mysql
* nvidia-kernel
* nvidia-gl
'qpkg -q ...' gave me the information:
# qpkg -q Imaging-py21
dev-python/Imaging-py21-1.1.3-r1
DEPENDED ON BY:
net-zope/cmfphoto-0.2
Makes sense, since zope depends on python 2.1 for the moment.

When I try to encode a WAV file in order to obtein a MP2 file, the
result is incorrect. I use two tools in order to perform the operation:
toolame and mp2enc, using the command lines:
toolame -b 224 file.wav
mp2enc -V -o file.mp2 < file.wav
