No IEEE 1394 Firewire Link on a new line of Sony Digital Camcorders when all the Mini DV and Digital 8 Camcorders have them. Which makes this $ 2300 camcorder as far as I know completely useless for copying or transferring digital full motion video, only digital stills and only with an ethernet
