You have defined your sources as various on-line ones.
You can edit those sources in mcc. Or : browse your CD's, copy the
relevant rpm to some directory, cd directory to that one, become
root and type : u
This can
easily be done thusly : as root : service stop
and can be started anew : service start. That way you
can turn them off one at a time until untoward effects occur.
A final word : your linux system is by default orders of magnitudes
safer than Windows, so all of the above is - IMHO - a little
ur windows partition is listed in
your /etc/fstab, it should contain "umask=0", something like :
/dev/hda4 /data vfat umask=0,iocharset=iso8859-15,codepage=850 0 0
that way it will mount chmod 777 every time.
