CSHydrogen Peroxide Use to make fine-particle Ag sol

2010-10-25 Thread Jim Holmes
Hi folk,

Thanks to all for the great serrapeptase info. I'll bet there are a few of
producers in the world, and a zillion brands.

~

Is there a technical paper---or mail collection---available that describes
what has been observed to occur when H2O2 is added to a 10 mg/l; 1/2 to 10
nm sol?

Ode recommends six drops per Quart, or enough to clear.

I am now using Bruce Marx's Max system; 9 electrodes, 170 V pulsed. I just
noticed that I am getting no Tyndall with a red (looks like about 660 to me)
laser..The sol is very light gold after a few days, and may turn darker over
time.

Any comments, explanations, suggestions will be appreciated.

  Jim

Re: CSHydrogen Peroxide, Nasal Sprayer Garden Applications By Bill Munro

2010-08-30 Thread Marshall Dudley
There is another BIG difference. I think I read some time back that the
surface area of the lungs is something like that of a football field.
The back of the throat is maybe 10 square inches. Also the back of the
throat is continually washed with every swallow. Now if you have a
substance that is released into the blood stream as a toxic substance in
the lungs when broken down by H2O2, a heck of a lot of it can be
released from that much surface area, but almost none from a washed 10
square inches. Mind you that the body makes and uses H2O2 in the lungs
to clear them of organic material. But the body is intelligent and only
uses minute amounts of it, so no more is released into the blood stream
at one time than it can deal with. That is especially true of things
like tobacco tar.

Re: CSHydrogen Peroxide, Nasal Sprayer Garden Applications By Bill Munro

2010-08-28 Thread needling around
Before finding CS I had a real problem with my gums and having my teeth cleaned
often ended up in a full blown gum infection. One of my hygienists gave me a
product called peroxyl which I later found out was basically peroxide with
peppermint oil so I started using peroxide instead. Although it cut down on
the post-cleaning infections it always hurt my gums.

I recently found out that full-strength will burn mucus membranes and should
be cut 50/50 with water (now I would use CS if needed).

I mention this because I would imagine straight peroxide would do the same
thing to the lung tissue... unless that is what you are using to clean out the
'gunk' that might be collecting in them.

I would love some comments so I can better understand what is going on.

Having just read Mr. Eaton's post I am thinking that where you live could
also affect the outcome. I would imagine living in a highly industrialized
area could create toxic lungs whether or not a person smoked. So one might
want to consider this also.

I would like to reiterate an earlier post's question, What is the
difference between a nebulizer and the sprayer that Bill Munro improvised...
if there is one?

Thanks.

Re: CShydrogen peroxide - Ode help!!

2010-08-28 Thread Ode Coyote

  Yes, it is.
Though... most likely a silver hydroxide particle or crystal structure.

Note how few there are per volume of water, being consistent with 85 to
97% ionic
Note also the photo made with a TEMof dried oxidized ions being
*called* particles.

Those were never in the water.
Note how densely packed they are, consistent with ~90% ionic.

Somewhere out of the TEMs field of view you might find a big glob that
would have been an actual particle in the water, but you might have to
look a long time to find one.

Imagine trying to find an ant on an acre of fine sand using a magnifying glass.
That would be a picture of a black blob, surrounded by nothing...not very
interesting.

Crystals generally form around a nucleus, some foreign object. [It is, in
fact, very hard to freeze extremely pure water...it just doesn't want to
crystalize ]
Imagine that the nucleating object is a silver oxide particle and what H2O2
does to silver oxide on your black electrode or the brown/golden stuff
stuck to the glass when yellow CS/EIS is stored for a long time.

Zap that nucleus and what you have left is the fractal arms of the crystal.

Silver Oxide will display a yellow to brown to black color as a pigment,
depending on concentration.
Particles can also display a yellow, reddish, green or violet color due
to size related light scattering.

Why not both at once AND/OR either/or?

Break up the oxide and *pigment color* goes away.
Bust out the fractal arms and size changes..and *light scattering* color
goes away.

Huh. I've used full strength 3% h2o2 as a mouth rinse and never noticed any

A few years ago I was at a health expo and there was a dental company there
doing those teeth whitening demos at a huge discount, so I tried it. Where
they put a special paste in a custom fitted dental tray, turn lights on, and
then in x amount of time you rinse and--you have whiter teeth. It really
did work. I was impressed.

Anyway, she told me the best way to make teeth white, or keep them white,
was to rinse daily with 3% h2o2. Never mentioned burn at all, nor even said
to be careful.

Of course, each person is different, and perhaps you are just more sensitive

  Yup.
Look on the label for stabilizers.
The cheapest stuff might be the best.

Re: CShydrogen peroxide

2010-08-26 Thread Ode Coyote

I've found that the cheap stuff has no stabilizers.
Just 2 ingredients H2O2 and H2O.

Breathing Ozone would probably do the same thing, the same way.
Unhealthy cells are easier to burn upgo too far and you also burn up
the healthy ones.
Go too fast and you choke on the debris and protective defense reactions.
[Why Ozone is more dangerous to those with lung problems ]

Both H2O2 and O3 have something in common.a Free Radical [ Mono-atomic
Oxygen ] that will grab a partner from anywhere there is one to grab to do
a hot molecule dance somewhere...easy ones on surfaces first.

Everybody is trying to destroy Free Radicals with anti-oxidants..but you
don't suppose there's a reason they are there? [Those scrubbing bubbles ]
If all you have is weak cells, surecould be a problem. [It's easy to
get a dance partner in a ball room full of sluts ]

If your shower stall is MADE out of slime, might not want to clean it too
hard. [It's tough to get new paint to stick to no walls ]

PS Feed your Ozone maker with pure OxygenNitric Acid prolly ain't real
good for the wet parts.

Re: CShydrogen peroxide

2010-08-25 Thread Marshall Dudley
It is simply a matter of concentration. The articles which discuss it
are referring to 3%. So if you use 35% you use about 1/11 or 1/12 as
much. For instance instead of using 4 drops in a glass of CS, you would
use about 1/3 of a drop.

Because I can be math challenged

Is there an easy way to determine how much to dilute a substance that is
already partially diluted?

For example - 35% H2O2 diluted to 3% H2O2 ... how much distilled water to
how much of the 35% to get it to 3%

I'm sure given enough time I could figure this out but those of you math
whizzes who can figure stuff out like that easily - could you help me out?

Thanks in advance,

CSHydrogen peroxide formation

2008-12-23 Thread Shirley Reed
I am thinking that Ed McCabe says that the big advantage of fresh foods
over cooked is that the enzymes in the fresh fruits and vegs allow the
production of H202 in the body. And it is this that accounts for their
superior effects. I may not have that just right and if I can find the info
in his (big) book, I will quote it. Sorry to be so hazy on this, but so

CSHydrogen Peroxide, teeth, brighteners

2008-06-15 Thread Rowena

I've received a copy of the voiceanalysis newsletter
www.VoiceBio.com/products.php
I can't give you a link to the information, as the newsletter is sent out, not
put on the site.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Information4U

This is the item I thought would be interesting to list members here:

I learned something very fascinating this week. I had a consultation with a
young lady who had nutritional microscopy, which is looking at a sample of
blood under a microscope immediately after it is taken from the finger. I was
looking at the video of her test and noticed that she had large globules of
what looked like oxygen drops in her blood. The significance of this is the
fact that these globules would impair the flow of red blood cells in the body
and may, in fact, lead to possible lung, heart and other oxygen related
tissues. I asked her if she was taking a source of oxygen in the form of
hydrogen peroxide, which is common for someone attempting to get additional
oxygen in the body. Much to my surprise, she was not doing that but I knew she
was doing something. Finally, she told me that she was using a mouthwash that
had hydrogen peroxide as a whitener.

I would suggest to all of you reading this not to use any teeth brighteners
that contain hydrogen peroxide.

Afterwards, I was talking to a patient who is also a respiratory therapist.
She was surprised and taken aback of the finding I suggested due to the
potential for lung or respiratory challenges. As a matter of fact, I have
additionally read articles suggesting that brighteners may also be taking the
enamel off your teeth. I would strongly encourage you not to use any
brighteners. I have found from experience that one of the leading causes of
yellow teeth is a low thyroid. Do you have cold hands and feet? Are you

CSHydrogen peroxide

If anyone is interested to read an article about someone who claims to have
a doctorate in naturopathy may go to the web address below. Apparently a
young person died that appears to be due to injection of hydrogen peroxide.
A procedure called photoluminescence. I know that this procedure is not
used

on this list, but perhaps that someone is interested in reading about it.

I am thinking about mixture of hydrogen peroxide with EIS...

There is a lots of other Web pages that are mentioning this case. Just make
search for the name of the person listed on the web page.

GOLDEN, Colo. -- The trial of a holistic health practitioner charged in the
death of a patient got under way Tuesday.

We probably have to be very careful with hydrogen peroxide...

I think the amount of H202 one would add to EIS is small enough not
to be a problem even if one believes H202 is a problem. I myself still
believe straight 3% H202 is a perfectly good wound flush for immediate
first aid, and I would also have no hesitation to use it on an infected
wound where I wanted to debride the pus and infected cells off the
wound. It does kill new cells, but I personally never have continued to
use it on a non-infected healing wound, nor do I know anyone else who
has. I think perhaps they don't like peroxide because it is cheap and
effective?
With my mother who got many infected wounds on her legs in her last
couple years, she had this argument with the public health nurse and the
doctor several times. However, the wound wash and the neosporin they
always wanted to put on her wounds invariably let them become terribly
infected..so I don't know what the medical deal is, maybe just
drumming up business for abx prescriptions? Whatever, I was completely
underwhelmed by their alternatives to peroxide. However they were very
insistent that we not use it, to the point where both the Dr. and the
nurse became very angry. Had I known about EIS those days, I'd have used it.
So we just quit telling them what we were doing. God knows my mother
would probably have lost a leg, if I had let them treat her their way
only. I remember once the nurse washing a leg wound, and putting on
neosporin, they next morning it was unbelievably worse and inflamed.
They insisted I was wrong about the reaction to the neosporin. I would
clean the wound my way, and put on a vit e ointment (from a clean new
jar of ointment) and it would be better when the dressing was changed,
but the nurse would still be horrified that I had taken off her dressing
and re-done it, saying I was making things worse. FWIW, my mother is the
one who wanted peroxide used, as she said it was what she always used
and she never used to get infections from cuts and scratches.
Medical people see what they want to see, I guess. Sort of like the
rest of us, but then I know I saw what I sawand my mom reported less
pain in the wounds when I took care of them, too.
I ended up feeling less respect for doctors and nurses than I had
ever had, and also believing one just has to try different things, and
stick with what works, no matter what the professionals say.

I was trained to use peroxide to wash wounds in animal care, while
working at the vet school here in Texas. We were told that it does
impeded new cell growth but that all you had to do was rinse it well
after cleaning the wound. This is true of another allopathic fav,
Betadine, it impededs new cell growth as well. Yet it is the number one
surgical scrub!

There is a huge dis-information campaign against H2O2, like DMSO and CS.
It is not patentable so of course it is BAD for you and will make things
worse, oh no!!! Be afraid, very very afraid to use your own judgement
least you take away our jobs! (Which we majorly suck at most of the
time, but that is beside our point. Our malpractice insurance and
licensing boards tell us how to practice medicine, we can not and will
not think for ourselves or we would have to get out of allopathic
medicine!).

Re: CSHydrogen Peroxide

CSFW: CSHydrogen Peroxide

2004-09-27 Thread Christine Carleton
Sol,

It's not personal. It's legal.

In court the first responsibility of an MD is to prescribe pharmaceuticals
rather than suggest clean water or food to patients.

Know their 'legal lay of the land'. They are trapped. Many know, but
think/feel they cannot forfeit a $100,000. education, risk loosing their
mortgage or family society status to finding a different occupation.

Dr. David Hawkins, MD, PhD says that choices of money and trappings no
longer create success but INTEGRITY to whatever field - making mouse traps -
whatever - is the new definition of success.

The irony: A portfolio will not produce health but buy the best MD to
prescribe expensive pharmaceuticals. Universal Humour at it's best?

I agree with your conclusion. ...stick with what works, no matter what
(allopathic and some science - my interjection) professionals say.

Truth produces health.

2004-07-22 Thread Ode Coyote

MY experience from having done this is that adding the peroxide to the
water before making CS results in a maximum of around 13 PPM ionic [13 uS
on a PWT meter] and everything after that HUGE shiney silver metal
flakes big and pretty enough to use in a snow scene paperweight.

Eventually [like many many months], with plenty of sunlight, [That batch
sat on a South facing window sill for over a year] the metal flakes turned
into black balls of silver oxide, the formerly clear water went very yellow
and tasted very strongly metallic.
I seem to remember a meter reading shooting up from 13 to around 45 uS on
that batch but I don't have it anymore to check again.

It's not something I plan to do again.

Is it a bad thing if the water tastes very metallic? I ask because, the
last batch I made I had going for about 45 mins and I had *no* tindal effect
so I chugged it away until I saw a slight effect about half an our later.
The water was very clear and by the faraday calculator I reckon it was about
20PPM (probably less due to some build up on the electrodes), but it tasted
very metallic. It seemed to work very well though.

Your question leads to another good reason to use
bullion coins instead of wire. Coins are marked with
their silver content, of course, but their non-silver content
is assayed too.
According to Littleton Coin Company, the Silver

Other details about the Eagle: diameter = 40.6 mm
and mass = 31.101 grams.

Hi Jean,

Do NOT add peroxide BEFORE making CS. If you want to add it afterwards that
will be OK. It will cause the 15% colloidal portion to become ionic. So,
instead of being 85% ionic it will be 100% ionic.

CSHydrogen Peroxide...FYI

2002-10-27 Thread SilverMedicine.org
Greetings, all:

I'm trying to create a measureable standard to calculate how much H2O2 to use
with colloidal silver to achieve suitable benefit.

In so doing, my first step has been to find a method to quantify the levels of
H2O2. My chosen method is utilizing peroxide strips, which measure H2O2
concentration ( in this case, theoretically accurate, since there are no
chlorides in the CS ) in PPM. The scale of the strips I purchased is from 0 -
100 PPM.

I know that all the testing papers are not completely accurate. However, I
figured I could get close enough to draw some conclusions using this affordable
method.

I added one drop of 35% hydrogen peroxide to 32 ounces of 11 PPM colloidal
silver. This is far below the concentration I use with mouth and throat
infections, but I had to create a solution that fell within the low measuring
parameters of the testing paper. My H2O2 is actually relatively old; newly
purchased 35% H2O2 might show greater levels of concentration. The CS measured
roughly 47 PPM H2O2.

8X4X3X47 = 4512 PPM H2O2 :  4512:11 = 410 to 1 ( PPM H2O2 to Colloidal Silver )
--- three drops of 35% added to 4 ounces of CS is the strongest concentration
I've used.

The colloidal silver used was a high quality CS - made with Trem's SG7 Pro.
Therefore, there is never any visible reaction with the hydrogen peroxide,
because any particulate silver is in the form of minute particles.

This presented me with my first problem, as 24 hours later there was perhaps
only a change of 1-2 PPM in the hydrogen peroxide reading. The hydrogen
peroxide stabilized far faster than I thought it would.

Of course, this has to be kept in perspective, as the concentration of silver
is only 11PPM, and silver flakes or agglomerated particles will cause a greater
reaction with the H2O2 ( considering lower quality colloidal silvers ). My
next tests will center around a CS with a greater particle content.

The container was also left open during this trial run.

Kind Regards,

Jason

It's better to make it colorless to start with by reducing the current
[by reducing the voltage] as you go [remove a battery every now and then,
twist a potentiometer, add current control circuit] and/...or [up to a
point if the voltage/current is not reduced] inducing a stirring effect
with a small heat source or mechanical stirrer of some sort. It doesn't
take much, just keep the water moving some.
A couple of drops of 3% per 8 oz should clear it up overnight. If that
doesn't do it, add a drop or two more. Too much and you won't want to use
it [tastes REALLY NASTY!!!]

Re: CSRE: Subject: CShydrogen peroxide and CS production experiment [aquicky]

2000-04-24 Thread Dan Michele McCullough
Kathy,

I would think that your speculation about opening something up in your
sinuses is totally correct. Many people with sinus problems have areas
where a crust has formed over an area of infection. Sinus infections are
very hard to clear up because they occur in the midst of bone which is not
highly vascularized and therefore it takes a long time for any WBCs to get
there. It's not a bad thing to get that opened up and drained out as it
could possibly abscess or just fester. You should see the stuff we get out
of peoples sinuses in surgery. We have to wear scents over our masks. If
you got sick for a couple of days from it you probably had a lot of
drainage from the sinus. You might consider doing it again occasionally
just to keep the area open and infection free. Before the invention of
nose drops people would sniff salt water to draw fluid from the tissues
into the nasal passages therefore loosening the mucous plugs etc. and
clearing the congestion out. At first it makes the membranes swell but the
end result is a clearing of the nares. Good luck on your sinuses.

Michele

At 10:51 AM 4/9/00 +1200, you wrote:
Hi KD'C,

What strength H2O2 are you using, I would guess 3% as you put some in
your mouth without burning it!
 ## Yup, 3% right from the drugstore

I have posted experiments (along with others) in the past, using 50%
H2O2. If you care to check the archives, you may find the answers to
most of your questions there.

H2O2 does react with pure metallic silver, in fact passing high
concentration H2O2 through a silver mesh is a method used in DIY
rocket engines!
## YOW! 3% h202 didn't react [noticeably] immediately with the fresh
silver but eventually turned the silver quite black.

A small length (10mm) of new silver wire was left in 100mls of 50%
H2O2 for a few days. A small stream of bubbles emanated from the
silver and the concentration of silver ions in the solution increased
from zero to well above 20ppm, as measured by Ion Selective Electrode
(ISE). There was no silver oxide.
### Mine turned really black overnight. If that isn't silver oxide, what
is it? A mystery here. Catalytic reaction too fast in 50% to make silver
oxides?

A nasty brew of dirty grey (inclusion of large uncharged metallic
colloids, emanating from the cathode) CS was created, there was much
fallout on the bottom of the container. Some of this colloid was
taken, to which a few ml of 50% H2O2 was added. A great cloud of
minute bubbles formed immediately, which were so small that the
solution looked milky, and the Tyndal beam showed a shower of
sparklies.
Within a few hours the solution was completely clear, showing very
little Tyndal effect. The concentration of silver ions increased as
the solution cleared.
I concluded that the H2O2 oxidised the metallic silver particles as it
reduced to O2 gas and water, forming free silver ions and not silver
oxide
### I'm having trouble with the definition of oxidation. To me, when an
element combines with oxygen, it has been oxidized. When wood burns, it
combines with oxygen in a rapid oxidation reaction producing among other
things, carbon dioxide. Silver oxidizes to form dark colored silver oxides.
Reduction is the reverse of oxidation...driving off the oxygen. Am I
totally confused?

You talk of the 'oxide load', what do you mean? Is this the build up
on the neg. cathode or pos. anode, fall out on the bottom of the
container or floaters on the solution surface, or colour in the
solution?
 ## Buildup on the negative electrode [the oxygen producing one? I keep

 ### Interestingly, it seems that the hydrogen peroxide does not
react
with clean silver but only attacks the oxides wedged in the pits of
an old
used electrode. Why? I have no clue. I will now take a piece of new
silver
and place it in h2o2 for several days and see what happens.

Another oddity: [current controlled to .8ma, starting voltage at
24.5v
winding down to 6v in approx 2 hrs] The oxides seem to form more
vigerously
at the beginning of the process and in cool water. If the prods and
container are cleaned about half way through, the oxide load seems
greatly
 reduced.
If fresh ozonated water is used with cool water, oxide load is
great.
If the water is warmed to about 100 deg F, bubbles form [dissolved
ozygen?]
and dissipate [bubbles off] and the subsequent process shows a
greatly
reduced oxide load. But, running with warm water increases hydrogen
bubbles
sticking to the other prod [Perhaps something to do with increased
vapor
pressure forming bigger more stable bubbles and surface tension of
the
water.] and silver gets trapped on or under the surface of the
hydrogen
bubbles making a gray fur that clings to one prod. When the prods
are
removed, the bubbles break at the surface and some of this silver
transfers
from the surface tension of the hydrogen bubbles to the surface
tension of
the water and makes what I call a gray floater.

Back to h2o2 and new silver... so far, no reaction whatsoever.

BTW, running the generator on straight h202 made a sour nasty
tasting
somewhat milky liquid that foamed in the mouth.
Momentarily, a rabid looking coyote with a sour expression. I
guess
even with all that violent bubbling at the electrodes going on, the
o2
content of the h202 was pretty much unchanged.

Getting small bubbles coming off the new silver now [20 minutes or
so]and
some signs of gray/black tarnish and initial signs of slight
pitting.
Looks like h2o2 reacts somewhat violently with silver resulting in
oxides

Hello Ivan,
Thanks for your response.
May I add that the nose experiment was done about two weeks ago and I
have not done it again...but have noticed a new type of sensation in my head.
It seems as though my head has a hollow (okay NO jokes!) sound, which causes
and echo of sorts. I remember having this before too, when my tinnitus began
4 years ago.
Perhaps it is not related to the use of the hydrogen peroxide...it seems
funny though that is happening after I did my little experiment. I've been
zapping a lot extra though, in case I did let some infection lose!
Thanks again.

Hi Kathy,

I do that too...once you get past the stinging, which travels through
the whole sinus :-(, the sinus is left amazingly clear as you note :-)

Certainly sounds like you over did it a bit, but it also sounds as if
you have uncovered a deep-seated infection.

Whether the illness relates to an immune response an infection clean
up or invading H2O2 damage to the nasal tissue I couldn't say, but I
have read where, after H2O2 therapy, tumours detached from a fellows
throat and bled so much that the wound needed cauterising.

I'm not saying you had a tumour!!! Just that it is possible to react
with pathogenic masses with resultant bleeding.

However I do urge you to be careful, I would hate to think that you
are damaging your nasal tissue!

Kind regards

## Started a batch with 25 drops of hydrogen peroxide in DS. Run for 2

Bubbles bubbles everywhere and stuck on all glass surfaces, nice
T.E.,slightly cloudy white, sour/bitter flavor with nasty aftertaste..not
just a clean metallic bite, little darkening of either prod, no deposits,
bubbles stuck all over the bottom even after sitting all night.
What the heck did I make?

The h2o2 ate up all the black stuff that was trapped in the pitted surface

 Going back to the generator.
I had to disable the voltage referencing circuit because the h2o2 was too
conductive telling my generator to turn off. Running at a regulated current
of .8 ma.
It violently bubbled on both rods for a few minutes [oxygen release??]then
one rod started producing twice as many bubbles as the other [normal
hydrolysis??]...no black stuff yet...no color at all...got a fine strong
T.E. very quickly. [not present in the h2o2]
 After 40 minutes:
One rod darkening a little and still bubbling half as much as the other,
the other emmitting violent bubbles appearing white. Still no color...fine
T.E., no sparkles, no deposits.

Note: When hydrogen peroxide is depleted, distilled water is all that's
left.

Could be a great way to start a batch of CS? [Add a little hydrogen
peroxide to the distilled water]

  That's next.
It certainly cleans the rods! [even with no power] Gotta try it on a REALLY
black rod and see what happens to the h202.

Re: CShydrogen peroxide and CS production experiment [a quicky]

2000-04-08 Thread Ivan Anderson
Hi KD'C,

What strength H2O2 are you using, I would guess 3% as you put some in
your mouth without burning it!

I concluded that the H2O2 oxidised the metallic silver particles as it
reduced to O2 gas and water, forming free silver ions and not silver
oxide.

You talk of the 'oxide load', what do you mean? Is this the build up
on the neg. cathode or pos. anode, fall out on the bottom of the
container or floaters on the solution surface, or colour in the
solution?

Regards
Ivan.
