Hello,
I have a Pismo 400 mhz, 576 mb ram, 48 GB hard drive running 10.3.8.
When I start up it frequently begins and then shows the screen with

What should I do to fix this start up problem?
Thanks
How do you monitor or check on the status of your DVD/CD player? I'm

Thanks!

I'd like to know if the built in Airport card works on a Pismo
running
Internal Airport runs perfectly on my Pismo with 9 and Panther
Currently eagerly following the tread about Tiger here and will
probably go for it with my Pismo 512MB
I know there are people that will tell me it's too slow. These are the
same ones that told me OS X would NEVER run on my 266 iMac
Ditto the two previous responses. It actually seems a little
snappier, although there are bugs here and there but I'm assuming
they'll be fixed in 10.4.2.

My fellow PowerBook-philes,
I put it on my GF's Pismo right before she left for Italy, she had never
used a Mac before and does not have a lot of computer experience, and it
worked
I am running tiger on my 400 mhz G3 pismo with 320 MB RAM and it is better
than 10.3 in my opinion, the start up is certainly faster.

Not too slow at all. I have 10.4 on my 500Mhz Pismo, and two upgraded
G4's: one
, but would like to be able to use it on my trusty Pismo.
I have Quark 6.5, but it doesn't support the optional glyphs in
OpenType, and I'd rather not spend nearly $400 to upgrade from
PageMaker 6.5 to InDesign. I use NeoOffice for word processing, and
evidently it does't fully support OpenType
Just putting out some feelers, Fully loaded Pismo G4 500 upgrade 1 gig ram
8x Superdrive 60 gig toshiba, Airport, OS 10.39, With bookendz Dock I have
an awesome Kensington Saddle bag Looking for a loaded G3 12 inch Ibook. The
form factor fits my use better looking for 900+ G3 with all the buttons
Can anyone tell me how to be able to use an
external monitor with my Pismo?
I hooked up a 19 to my Pismo it
was like an extension of my Pismo monitor.
So when I looked
under the monitor setup/controls it puts the
external monitor above or below my Pismo
monitor. Not what I want. I want to view
If I understand what you'd like correctly, I think you want to check
'mirror displays' under display preferences.

Well, maybe that is my problem, I am using
Mac OS 10.3.4 when I go to system pref's
displays, there isn't anything that says
mirroring
Where would it then be when using 10.3.4?
Thanks for all the help!
