How sweet it is Thank you very much! That put me on the right track. I changed the keyboard and still got the x-210. I did the old trial by error. Put the terminal in setup mode and tried each keyboard setting one by one . The 78EMU setting worked!! Thanks again.

I had the same problem! The second level Z/VM guest kept getting the 754 prog. I was moving from 3.1 to 5.2. The IBM sub contractor said it must be that. He had not seen that in any other upgrade he had done. When he i installed Z/VM 5.2 as the first level, the problem went a way.

I thought the z9-109 was the follow on to the z990 Dave: z9-109 was renamed today to z9 EC. In addition to the new name, there are now subcapacity models of the z9 S08 (4 different speeds on the 1 to 8 way models of the z9 EC) and other enhancements in common with the z9 BC. Jim
