Tom, do you have any idea as to where I can fetch kernel
2.6.8.1-10 ?
I tried kernel 2.6.3, but it completely borked my ReiserFS.

Therefore, I wanted to follow Tom's advice and install the

rpmfind.net doesn't come up with it.
Maybe I should try

I just followed Tom's advice and upgraded to the present

Everything seem to work perfectly. So, now I supposedly run
updates. OK. But when comparing those update versions to
my cooker versions, mine seems to be newer.
Can anyone explain ? - Tom ?

I tried one of those drivers, but it insisted on device busy or
some such, so I did'nt bother, but use xsane as my default driver.
A 100 % pleasure.

It is from nov 2003 until a few days ago when it was started up

In previous versions it was terminal from the start.
'Any ideas?
Sometimes it helps to edit /etc/lilo.conf and change the 788 (or
whatever) mode to 792. Gives a nicer screen on 1024x768 too.
Don't forget to run lilo after editing.
