I've got a 2511 that I have had problems with, and I have managed to fix it.
The unit was having booting problems, and after hours on the phone with TAC
they concluded that there was hardware problems with the unit.
The 2511 has two SCSI ports, one for ASYNC ports 1-8 another for
DS,
I am getting a lot by the hours. The problem could be on your side.

What it might be is the Settings for your connection, try turning the flow
control from Hardware(default setting) to off. I found this to be an issue
with my 2501. The setting didn't matter when connecting to my 3640, but when
connecting to my 2501 nothing worked. If you still have pro

always have us reinitialize the cable modem and get assigned an ip address
and gateway address. Everything works for about 2 minutes and then we

still flapping and regains its full functionality only after several hours ,

I'm trying to SPAN a vlan to a port on a cat6509 with CATOS 6.3.3, I
can't seem to receive any traffic.

I have problems with my router due to corrupt files on bootflash. I can only
boot from ROM and I cant figure out how
to load back the configuration files I backed up on TFTP.
The only connection I have is through the rommon prompt and I cant figure
out how to restore bootflash, flash or reload

happened to me once and I used the console port to x-modem the image across, I
let it run over night and it worked fine for me. You can find the

1) Reboot the router.
2) While it is reloading hit the break key
to get it into rommon mode

I am configuring a cisco 761M and experiencing some problems.
When I setup an ip address / netmask ( 10.0.0.200/24 ) for the router
via the config port the router can be successfully pinged from the lan.
Everytime I set up an ip address for a profile ( 192.168.1.1/24 ) the
pings from
Sounds like it's having problems on power up with the flash and maybe going
into ROM mode. Maybe try re-flashing the router and see if that helps.
