No, PRIs are strictly point to point so there isn't a mechanism to allow a
single PRI to go to two routers. Something like an Adtran Atlas 800 would

Yes. I have done the very thing with a Corebuilder 7000. The Corebuilder
just needs the LECS address of the CAT5000 and you can configure all the
LANE scenarios you need.
I put the LECS, LES/BUS'es on the CAT5000.

I had a case logged regarding why there was no ISL of the new 2948G
switches we bought and the answer was that they now only support dot1q
trunking.

There is more than just memory difference between the two Sup.
The major difference is the backplane. The Sup 1 can only access one
backplane (Cat 5000/5002). Sup 2 can access three backplane (Cat 550Xs).
For VLAN lab, Sup 1 with IOS 4.x is just fine.

I think it was the 36 port 10/100 switching modules from memory.
I think there might have also been something with NetFlow enhancements in 5.x
over 4.x?

Now I installed another 128 K leased line which connect to my HQ. From
