My 3400c usually works fine on wireless, using the enterasys/orinoco
card. Last night and this morning it couldn't connect to my router, the
ip addy was set to 169.254.14.31 which was the same as the router addy.
Subnet was 255.255.0.0. I've seen this dns before, it's there every time

Zip drives had their time. They were a great
improvement over Syquest Drives but for a Powerbook
3400 you're better off using your Compact Flash PCMCIA
adapter and a Flash card rather than wasting money on
zip disks.

Actually it wasn't lowendmac, it was Road Warrior and OWC who were quoted on
lowendmac. It might have something to do with transfer also. Both ata-5
Lowendmac says that ATA-6 drives won't work with pre-g4 pbs. Size

cool and pretty fast on the 'net. Goodness, wireless if fun!

The volume control on my 3400c is stepped, as opposed to infinite, which
makes controlling it when using headphones very tough. The volume is either
off, or too loud on the very first notch. Is there such a thing as a

just upgraded (again) and everything works fine except that I can't connect
to the Internet. I'm connected to a router and the 'net works fine in 9.1
but no way can I get it to work on 9.2.1. Any suggestions? Thanks.

9.1 then through the two updates to get to 9.22 last week. The computer ran
very slowly and crashed all the time. This week, I have it up to 9.1 and it
