Hi Hanneke, For the DE you could try asking at a swimming pool shop or at cuddle up to your local brewmaster, they use it to filter yeast from beer. Personally I wouldn't ever use DE 'cos they will snuffle into their fur and breathe the stuff. That is a known health hazard in a brewery.
