2.6.8 should work. A new autoyast template
file /opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/sles/compute.sdk.sles11.tmpl is shipped,
use this template will enable the SDK repository, then you can add any SDK

The XML/Simple.pm is installed by RPM perl-XML-Simple-2.18-1.noarch.rpm,
which is shipped with xcat dep tar ball, did you use yum/zypper to install
the xcat? The perl-XML-Simple should have been installed by yum/zypper,
because it is required by xCAT.

A lot of reasons might cause postscripts could not be run successfully,
like the compute node can not resolve the hostname of the management node.
Try the following debug procedure:

perl-IO-Socket-INET6 are installed on the MN however the IPv6 is disabled
on the MN. Could you try to remove the packages perl-Socket6 and

I can think of two options:
1. Use psh "echo \n | sudo -S " to automate
the password input for sudo, this is not a secure option because you need
to echo your password on the screen.
2. If your security policy allows, configure the sudo to allow
password-less commands execution.
