[Chihuahuas] New with a ? - long
On friday afternoon we picked up a 5 month old chihuahua from a breeder. The breeder told us she hadn't fed him since she knew we were coming to get him (she didn't want him to get car sick on the 45 minute drive back home). When we got home I offered him some food (the same kind of the breeder had him on) but he wouldn't eat. I wasn't overly concerned being he was a new strange place, new people, new dogs etc. We introduced him toour other dogs, he played with some and was drinking water fine. Sat. morning he still wouldn't eat, peed and pooped - everything looked normal. Took him to the vet. for his check up at 11. He had some ear mites but nothing else wrong. His coccidiosis (sp?) level was normal but since he wasn't eating for me the vet went ahead and put him on albon. She said he could stand to gain a little weight but other than the ear mites seemed healthy. When we got home he threw up the wormer pill they had given him. I was giving him nutra cal since he wasn't eating and the vet gave me some electrolite fluids which he was drinking. I called the breeder (she had asked me to call her after he had his vet appointment to let her know how things were going.) When I told her he wasn't eating she was pretty concerned but we were still chalking it up to the anxiety of changing homes. She did mention that after we picked him up Fri. she found oneof his rubber/plastic toys that he had chewed into tiny pices and she wondered if he had ingested any of it. I gave him the albon later that evening and he threw it back up. He played with the dogs some, still peeing/pooping normal - still not eating. Around 11 pm he started vomitting 2x an hour. By 2:30 am I called the vet. because I didn't think he would make it till morning. The vet. suggested it was parvo but wasn't sure after I told her he had no fever and no diarreah. We decided I would keep him comfortable till morning then call the breeder and take him back. It was a long night and there were times I really thought he was going to die. I started calling hte breeder at 7 am. She called me back at 10 am and asked me if he was still alive. I told her he was but I dind't know for how long. We took him back to her. She called me an hour after we dropped him off and said he seemed to have perked up a bit being back home but still wasn't eating - though he wasn't vomitting either. Still no fever or diarreah. Monday I called the vet. and asked them what I should do in case he had parvo. and they told me to wash down everything with a bleach solution. (which I did - He never was out in our yard. I carried him formt he car to the house and he was paper trained) The breeder called me Monday afternoon and said when she got up that morning and checked on the puppy he had passed a piece of the toy and a small piece of cloth. He was still very weak but seemed to be doing better. I guess my main ? is- do you think it's safe to go ahead and get a new puppy? The vet's office had said even if it was parvo since he wasn't in the yard, as long as I cleaned everything with the bleach solution we should be safe. What do you think? [Chihuahuas] Re: New with a ? - long
First, welcome to the group! Almost always parvo is accompanied with vomitting, bloody, mucousy diarrhea, fever, and lethargy. Also, the pups don't normally get weak and then play normally, get weak, normal, and so on. So maybe he didn't have it. From the sound of it, I think he was blocked with the rubber toy and cloth. That would be an excellent reason as to why he was vomitting. The food and meds couldn't go completely down to the stomach b/c of the blockage. If he's passed these things and starts eating again, and you've cleaned everything really well, then I say try it again. I would make sure that he starts eating again and keeping his food down before getting him back though (this assuming you are getting the same pup). PS- Here is a great link on parvo. It says that parvo can live in your home and yard for up to 6 months. So if you are planning on getting a different pup, you may want to wait a little longer. ~Lacey http://www.workingdogs.com/parvofaq.htm In Chihuahuas@yahoogroups.com, stepht24 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On friday afternoon we picked up a 5 month old chihuahua from a breeder. Nea-Nea, Go to the group's Photo section and look at "Tia's Album" on the next to the last page and look at Tia's pictures. Tia is classified as an applehead although not nearly as extreme as those being shown. You will also see a photo of Tia's father "Billy" who had a very nice show career. He has a very good head. I have found the breed standard to be very helpful, however it can be a bit confusing too, such as it calls for "large ears" which most of the show dogs have very small ears now, I personally like large ears. Also, each person tends to interpret the breed standard differently. Hope this helps. Kat Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today! Re: [Chihuahuas] Re: I have a Q?
I would show the picture to a few more experienced breeders - or better yet as pictures can be misleading (either way), go to a few shows and take her (although technically you are not supposed to bring a dog to a show that is not being shown). From the picture I would of said a Deer head. In the photo looks like her head is not very round and nose is longer. BUT do NOT take my word for it. I dont even own a Chi yet - have only been looking at them at shows and picturesand in pictures yours looks like the ones breeders show me that are deer heads. But take the word from experts, over me :-P If I were going to breed, I would get a dog as close to standard as I could find with a true apple head. I am not going to breed and personally like the look of deer types better. But it is not a correct head according to the AKC standard. Re: [Chihuahuas] New with a ? - long - Parvo
I have read and been told different stories regarding Parvo. One Vet told me Parvo only lives a couple weeks. So as long as it's been a couple weeks, your home is safe. And if the dog/puppy has had 2 sets of shots - he's fine around Parvo. ? I've also been told by another vet, Parvo can live a year or two. Bleaching does help, but how do you know you got every single little spot. Was the puppy on furniture? Carpeting? Did you bleach your clothes? Interior of car? He touched your other dogs, did you bleach them? Obviously not, but I think you get my point. Most of what you find on the internet supports this theory. But you can not trust everything you read online! I know that first hand by what I saw my child writing online :-P So I dont know what opinion to give you. At minimum, I would at least wait a couple weeks. Maybe bleach again. And make sure the new puppy had 2-3 sets of shots prior to coming to your home. But still could be a risk. Even with that being said - from what you wrote, I didnt think your pup had parvo. It would need to be tested and/or if he had bloody diareha to know for sure. Or if you've ever been around it before - you'll know by the smell. It's unforgettable!! [Chihuahuas] Re: Blood Sugar/Marijuana
Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you be buying drugs for someone else, regardless of whether or not they require it for medicinal use. This would in effect be dealing, and although you are not a drug dealer, the court and the police may see it very differently. I am not sure what the penalities are in your area, but just because the marijuana may be medicinal, it isn't for you and you could wind up in a world of trouble. As for the neighbourly relations, that's about out the window when your dog could have died because of her negligence. explain to her, that you will not replace drugs, nor will you pay for them. the consolation price for her, is that you won't report her or make her pay for the vet bills. --- In Chihuahuas@yahoogroups.com, Janisis [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Yes, I got a fast workshop on Chis and low blood sugar this weekend. Also, our neighbor came over and asked us to replace the pot Cricket ate while the dogs were visiting. I'm not sure how this should go. Our big dog often visits the neighbors and is always welcome. Apparently, they allowed Cricket to visit too. It cost me $130. and lots of worry to find out that pot is poison to a small dog, but they sniff it out like heat seeking missiles. I suppose bottom line I should not have allowed the dogs to go visit and should repay her for her loss. On the other hand she should not have allowed the dogs in or allowed them to come to harm while visiting... *shrug... I guess paying up will support neighborhood harmony more than making it an issue... the neighbor claims the pot is her medicine... California doesn't include marijuana in it's war on drugs. It's just not a local war, now of course, WashDC doesn't agree with this state and the others who have medical marijuana, but Heck, They and I don't agree on one thing, but that's for another group, LOL. I know all this from having been in court for my small amount of pot, it was interesting, LOL, I was the only person in Santa Barbara court with a marijuana case, all the others were under age 25, so I caused I bit of laughter in the court room, my being from San Francisco and all, it was funny, good thing I felt it was funny as well, otherwise, it could have been mucho humiliating! Bill, San Francisco Living with a chronic disease, called HIV, thank goodness for medical cannabis! And my little dog who gives me so much JOY! _http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/medical/_ (http://www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/medical/) Medical Marijuana Last Updated June 24, 2005 Medical marijuana made national headlines this year when the Supreme Court ruled that the federal government can prosecute medical marijuana patients, even in states that have compassionate use laws. This ruling was based on the Commerce Clause, and was not a referendum on the validity of medical marijuana. In fact, one of the Supreme Court justices urged medical marijuana advocates to make the will of the people heard in Congress by changing federal law. Federal Law In the wake of the June 2005 Supreme Court decision, Congress had an opportunity to protect patients by passing an amendment to a Justice Department spending bill that would have prohibited the department from spending any money to undermine state medical marijuana laws. The amendment, offered for the third year in a row by Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-22nd/NY) and Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-46th/CA), did not pass but got 161 votes - more than it has ever received before. This is substantial progress given that in 1998, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 311-94 for a non-binding resolution condemning medical marijuana. Marijuana is classified as a _Schedule I_ (http://www.usdoj.gov/dea/pubs/scheduling.html) substance, defined as having a high potential for abuse and no medicinal value. Multiple petitions for rescheduling marijuana have been submitted by reform advocates over the last 30 years. The most recent, submitted in 2002 by the Coalition for Rescheduling Cannabis, calls for a full review of the scientific research and medical practice regarding marijuana. The Food and Drug Administration has yet to respond to this petition. In 1978, the federal government was forced to allow some patients access to medical marijuana after a medical necessity defense was recognized in court, creating the Investigational New Drug (IND) compassionate access program. The IND, which allowed some patients to receive medical marijuana from the government, was closed to new patients in 1992 after it was flooded by applications from AIDS patients. Today, seven surviving patients still receive medical marijuana from the federal government. State Law The Raich Supreme Court decision does not overturn or affect state law, and 99% of all marijuana arrests take place at the state or local level. This means that state laws afford substantial protection to medical marijuana patients. Currently, laws that effectively remove state-level criminal penalties for growing and/or possessing medical marijuana are in place in Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont and Washington. Ten states, plus the District of Columbia, have symbolic medical marijuana laws (laws that support medical marijuana but do not provide patients with legal protection under state law). In 2005, New Mexico came very close to passing a medical marijuana bill. The governor pleged to sign the bill, but it was not called for a vote in the House

Although legal for medicinal purposes, its not been decriminalized. You could also have been charged had the vet felt it appropriate. there is a good point about neighbourhood politics. IF you are will ing to let the incident go, then splitting the costs may be appropriate. I must say though, you are a bigger person that I. Also, for Bill, my Dad has cancer and smokes pot for his pain. I know first hand what the benefits of the drug are, and would never question your need. My grandpa, also died of cancer and at the end of his illness, they were injecting him with heroine to control his pain. Sure made for some interesting conversations! I was thinking along those lines too... that we'd add the cost of the vet to the cost of the pot and ask that she split the total by half. Otherwise, because it IS legal for her to have it here, I'm going to treat it as if my child had been visiting and had broken something of value and just replace it. We live in very close proximity here and neighborhood harmony has a higher value than the cost of the pot and vet bill, about $250. total. Cricket was so out of it I don't question that she may have eaten almost an eighth. At that price, I will say the lady must be smoking the very finest. I know it's very good to have the substance as medicine if you need it, no problem. I apologize for sounding so negative about it. I'm venting, more from the scare than anything else. The people of California (as well as Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont and Washington.) all have laws on their books allowing folks like myself, with my Doctor's prescription to have Medical Marijuana. Say what you will, but come back and talk to me, when you have a chronic disease, it might change your mind. Most likely this person being another Californian has a prescription for the cannabis. I guess, you could ask her. But, I don't claim this medical marijuana for the relief of the side effects I suffer, I know it, and NEVER, NEVER try to tell me otherwise, or you'll be set for the wrath of me, LOL. If you want to ever discuss what it's like to live with this chronic disease, ask me. [Chihuahuas] petsitting a chi
Not sure if I told all of you or not, but I'm petsitting my neighbors chihuahua, Miesu. I'll be watching her for 3 months b/c both her mom and dad are in Iraq. It's been one month now and I'm really starting to get attached to her (imagine that!). But she has SO much energy! Fifi is very relaxed so I'm not really all that used to a dog running around a lot... lol. I had to give her a bath today b/c she went outside and found the biggest mud puddle she could and went tearing through it like a crazed little fool! It was funny though. But Fifi would NEVER do something like that. Miesu is a long hair chi and this was the first time I've ever groomed one. It wasn't that much to it all (nothing like my himalayan cat!). So maybe I'll go for a long hair if I ever decide to get Fifi a little friend. Anyway, I posted a picture of the two under the photos section (under Fifi). ~Lacey Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today! Yahoo! Re: [Chihuahuas] New with a ? - long
You're going to have to think this one through, Stephanie. Your post was very good on giving a lot of information. (I read Sandi's reply to this, too) When Sandi said a new puppy should have the puppy shots, those would be the shots against Parvo. All puppies should be getting Parvo shots. Then you could ask your vet when the shots would give immunity and if those shots are 100% effective, etc. I don't think it sounded like your pup had parvo either. I thought the bloody diarrhea was always present and not an occasional symptom. Sandi is so right when she said this diarrhea is foul smelling (sorry all). I've been around a pup with it and when a pup comes into the vets' with it, and gets into one of those small exam rooms, the vet can often tell right off from the smell that it's a Parvo pup. Here is a good link on Parvo. The last paragraph on this site 'what if I get Parvo in my home" has some good information for you. katie Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today! Re: [Chihuahuas] The Joys of Owning a Chihuahua.
The thing Cricket does that cracks me up most is every time I visit the bathroom, Cricket has to root around in my pants and then she has to stand up and watch the water flush down the drain, then she does a little bark if I pee and two little barks for the other. I also adore the way she will go to the door and ring her 'tinkle' bells to let the cats IN. I think the cats are actually grateful. Each cat has a chase/run relationship with Cricket, sometimes they get going so fast I think they are going to make butter just like Little Sambo and the Tiger in the children's story. Sorry about your broken leg Bill... it must have been bad to keep you off your feet for so long. Glad you are healing. Will you need physical theraphy? Re: [Chihuahuas] Re: Katie...Size..Susan
I finally found the web site! Yay, because I have looked for it before when something came up in the group that reminded me of this place. I don't even really like posting the name of this place to give her more advertisement, but it seems she could really use a few nicely worded polite emails so she updates some of her misinformation. To me, limiting the amount of food a chi gets to keep it a "teacup"?is downright dangerous. I,also, don't like that on the FAQ page for hypoglycemia she has about 3 words for her answer. If she is breeding "teacups", her answer should be about a page long. Then there is the purebred chis can't be over 6 pounds comment. On her front page she claims 50some years of chi experience, which is not good, because people may tend to believe things they read here. i thought about the very slim chance she could be in the group when I decided to post this and decided if she is unhappy with me it is worth it if she changes some of this info. Here is an excerpt from the FAQ page: How much will my puppy weight fully grown? Purebred Chihuahuas never weigh more then six pounds fully grown. However, a lot depends on the way you feed your new puppy. It is important to feed your pup twice a day and monitor his or her weight. [Chihuahuas] New Chihuahua mom
Hi all! Just picked up my new little boy last night, a 12-week-old Chi named Sparky. He's very much a lap puppy and doesn't show much interest in playing with my 1-year-old male Shih Tzu, Gizmo, or my 8-week-old female Shih Poo, Sugar, but that's okay with me. :) Just wanted to introduce myself. Here's a link to Sparky's picture if you'd like to see him. :) Thanks for having me in your group! Amy Missouri Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today! Yahoo! [Chihuahuas] Re: Katie...Size..Susan
She is ridiculous. A chi is going to grow like they should (tall or short) regardless of the food. If you limit food b/c you want a smaller chi, that's just gonna make him look thin and malnurished, but not make him shorter. If you overfeed, and the chi is naturally short, you will just have a fat dog, not a taller dog if all that makes any since... lol. ~Lacey In Chihuahuas@yahoogroups.com, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I finally found the web site! Re: [Chihuahuas] petsitting a chi
As an owner of a long haired chi, and spending way to many spring/summers working at my mothers grooming shop I can tell you long haired chi's are the easiest long hair to do, as long as it's not an arm pit piranha - but a muzzle fixes that lil problem, just make sure to get ALL the soap rinsed out, and a dime size amount of conditioner is enough, brush it while the conditioner is still in it;s hair and rinse again, completely or they WILL be itching and biting at their legs. I had to give her a bath today b/c she went outside and found the biggest mud puddle she could and went tearing through it like a crazed little fool! It was funny though. lol, that's ok. I've had lots of experiences bathing long haired breeds (we also gave baths at the clinic, but no hair cutting), but never once had a long haired chi. I love that with the smooth you can wash, towel dry really well, and that's it. I really figured there was a little more to the long haired chis than what it is. I have a smooth and a long hair ( although my long hair -(Moxi) is only 3 months old and 1.5 lb right now she's pretty easy to handle at this point - except trying to eat the sprayer and drink all the water) I've had more experience than I ever cared to at mom's shop won't do it again I've told her that - now she abuses my 10 yr old daughter all summer - Audrey loves it (daughter - age 10) they bond - and I don't have the patience to be in a small room with my mother ALL day - I own a daycare and with the kids i have all the patience in the world but not with my mom - even though I LOVE HER to death - WE are just to much alike to put in a confined space together for periods of time, but she is my best friend in the world, I grew up in the show world - my mother showed dogs/judged/trained ect... and I was in competitive ballroom dance, and I want nothing to do with it now, nothing major happened, I just got bored with the travel, drama, compeditivness, ect of all off it with both of dance and showing. I just love my dogs, and love to spoil the crap out of them, and I want the best for them (oh and my hubby and daughter - Tee Hee) I love being home now FT and just enjoying my family and pets.Lacey [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: lol, that's ok. Re: [Chihuahuas] pic of possibility
Marsha, I'm still too new to the Chihuahua breed to be of much help to you in selecting a stud dog for your lines but back in the day when I was breeding and showing dogs I not only looked at the dog in question but also the dog's pedigree. I didn't want the stud dog or his lines to have the same fault(s) that my girl or the lines she came from had. I also find it very helpful if you are able to see photos of some of the dogs in the pedigree. How far of a drive do you have to make to go see this boy? Kat marsha Taylor wrote: Hey, everyone, check out this pic. I am considering getting it as a companion for Ginger. She is still in a depressive state, so I think it would be best to move forward with getting her a mate. However, right now I can't really afford the quality I am looking for! However, this one seems pretty close, but is a LONG drive to go get. Before I make the trip to see him, I thought I would check with some of you to see what you think. He is 3 lbs. so the size is appropriate. I am not liking the way the tail is looking in the pic. Supposedly, it is only down like that because he was scared at the time. Of course, once I see him in person I could better tell his quality, but like I saidhate to drive that far for nothing. Can't tell well in this pic, but in other pics, his nose appears shorter and head rounder..Give me your opinions! Of course, he would have to be tested for genetic issues ect., before I would breed him. My biggest fear is that he is an "unknown". I have not used an unproven stud before and it kinda worries me, but I gotta start somewhere. Re: [Chihuahuas] pic of possibility
Marsha I'm not a big help in picking out a chi stud, but it would be great if you could see a little video of this guy instead of having to drive a long distance. The person who has the dog could snail mail you a video. I see on breeding sites now, little tapes of the puppies right on the web site. I am not super up on technology, but I know my daughter's not very expensive digital camera even takes videos that she can put onto her computer. If the person who has this little stud prospect has a way to video, and they don't know how to get you the video by snail mail or across your computer, let us know, and between all of us we can figure out how you could see a video and possibly save yourself a long trip. I know like there is the web site photo bucket for photos, there are web sites you download videos onto for easy viewing by other people. katie Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! [Chihuahuas] off topic My Partner brings home to weirdest things!
How to Care for Lost Pigeons http://www.angelfire.com/ga3/pigeongenetics/lostbird.html Three Years ago, My partner came home with a frog that was found in a bin of lettuce that had come up to San Francisco from Salinas, near Monterey, CA. We built him/her a terrarium and bought him crickets or caught flies to feed him/or her. We had "froggie" for almost 3 years. He just recently died, (tear). Well, Today! He came home early from his job at a high end catering company where he is the pastry chef! I guess there was a pigeon (baby) that was in the parking lot our in the rain. So, we're both looking up what they eat, it's not banded, so It's not someone's property, and I suppose we now have the care of a small young pigeon. Excitement! BTW, Speaking of Rain, I have never ever seen so many days in March, be a rain day. We and Hawaii have been hit with storm after storm, I guess the weather experts are now calling it "La Nina". Really, it's Rained more than the sun has shown all month. LOL, That's why we call this the "Rainy Season"! Bill- in a rain soaked San Francisco PS: Marsha I'm so glad you're back in the group! [Chihuahuas] Re: new dog for Marsha
Title: Message Not that it is anyone else's business, but my son is not in the home and will not be in the home for a whileuntil he has gotten some help. But, I wont discuss the details of that since some people think they know everything there is to know. Do you really think I would subject the dogs I have in my home now to that any further? I would place my dogs in loving homes before I would subject them to further abuse. Since you are the one who has had such a problem with my son in the past, let me tell you, he is NOT gone as a way to punish him or because I no longer care for him. He is gone because I DO love and care for him and KNOW he needs help. [Chihuahuas] Attention about Greenies lil bites!
Hello all! I'm sure you all remember the Cnn Email we all got a few months ago about a handful of dogs dying from having greenies stuck in the throats and intestines from swallowing hole pieces. I, like I'm sure all of you heart was broken knowing how much my Gizmo adores those snacks. I don't know if any of you have seen the Greenis lil bites. What they are is greenies all chopped up in tiny pieces like dog food. Gizmos had it before and loved it and I bought it at Pet Smart then couldn't find it anymore. Then I tryed Pet Pantry a pet store in my town and they had them. I was very worried about the whole choking thing with the Greenie sticks and after reading that article never really gave them to him again. Even though my dog would chew it very well in small pieces. So if any of you feel bad for taking away our babies favorite treats try the bites because there impossible to get lodged anywhere because its just like eating kibble. This I don't feel so bad about and I feel better that he can still enjoy it without me worrying about him choking. So if you'd like an alternative to the greenie Sticks try Greenie Bites. If ya can't find them in pet stores I'm sure you can order them online. Hope that was helpful to any one out there thats puppy has been missing Greenies as much as mine. Take Care everyone. Re: [Chihuahuas] new dog for Marsha
Hi all This is kind of a sad post to make but I hope it will help someone's doggie in the future. There was a group I belonged to a while back (not a dog group-hedgehogs). It was a huge group and the people in it were pretty brilliant on animal behavior in general. (too much email though) It was really the consensus that if a pet (or a person) in the household dies for the remaining pets to spend time with that passed individual/pet. Dogs are very smart and I think they understand more than they are sometimes given credit for if given a chance. Marsha-here is an interesting link on pet grief and the anxiety and it's actually written by a vet! Food for thought. Grief in dogs katie Lets talk about our wonderful little friends! Join today! Forgive me for this before I start. I too am a Christian. Born again, spirit filled, etc, etc. I would no more shove my opinions down anyones throat unless asked than I would desecrate a church. Marsha - Original Message - From: Nonnie To: 'marsha' Sent: Wednesday, March 29, 2006 6:51 PM Subject: RE: new dog for Marsha you sound like a back yard breeder to me. You are running out to get another stud just after the tragic incident in your home. What about the dogs that got out of your yard and got hit by cars. You claim you are an attorney get some sense. You don't have to forward this to this list but Marsha you have some serious deficiencies in your postings. Look at it from the outside looking in. You accidently let your male get to another female when she was in heat That sounds like a back yard breeder. Just how many dogs are you breeding and what are you doing for them. I could suggest ways to bill more client hours so that you wouldn't have to rely on the extra money derived from breeding dogs. I know you see that there was a problem in your allowing your son to beat his sister and yourself. I'm sure you wish you had acted on it sooner. BUT do you really think you need to be breeding dogs in the midst of all that is going on in your life. Dogs are not possessions. Dogs are like children and we must be more responsible for them then you appear to be. You say others are your friends because they are ignoring the issues that I have raised with you. Your little backstab was inappropriate. But you know birds of a feather flock together and if someone doesn't support you and oh and ah over what you do then you are placing them on the "enemy" list. I am not trying to be your enemy but rather take the position of an advocate for the animals. The don't do well in your care. Where are you getting this male dog from. By the way the picture looks like he has a rash or missing hair on his back. You know my friends have always been able to tell me honestly how they feel. This is how I honestly feel and I hope you would rather know and LOOK at the other side of the coin. You are sweeping everything under the rug. Even if you dog Honey's death doesn't haunt you forever it will be something I will not forget. Your Honey, though I never knew him will live in my memory and I will find him when I go to the Rainbow Bridge and apologize profusely for your lack of a safe environment for your dogs. I also will find those killed on the road by your house and adopt them into my family of animals who passed away due to old age and illness rather than neglect and carelessness. WHen I die I know if there is such a thing as the Rainbow Bridge, I will be surrounded by the most loving and missed animals. My dogs and horses will welcome me and I can honestly say I led a good life and was a good parent to ALL my animals. Their comfort, care and consideration always came before my own. Anyone who knows me personally will vouch for that. Please correct your situation and search your heart and soul. You don't need to be breeding more dogs that someday will need rescuing. You have enough animals. Love and provide for the ones you have. I also believe you are insincere in saying you would get rid of them to a better home. I'll no longer read any posts with Nonnie's name on them. ~Lacey In Chihuahuas@yahoogroups.com, Chris [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Hello all, This is just a note to let you know that I am setting up a filter to filter Nonnie from my e-mail.
