Why not use 8.0? 7.2 is quite old now, having been released around October last year. All 7.2 final (i.e. not beta) isos are the same -- they were created for the 7.2 release. You are supposed to install these and use MandrakeUpdate to update the installation to the newest packages. On Tue,

A 500 MHz processor speed should be fine. I didn't think anyone used 32 Megs of Ram anymore. :) In my view, 32 isn't enough for Windoze, Linux or anything else. I went from 64 to 128 recently and it was a large difference in speed. Do yourself a favor and get more memory. Regardless of what

It's just the usual complaining and bug reports that you hear with every new release. My install went almost perfectly, and I have had no show stopping bugs while running or installing 7.2. Remember, you only hear about the installs that went bad, and not the installs that went off perfectly.
