Have you check if another test user with Asset Admin permission can access
the link? If so, sometimes I've seen user login ids get disconnected from

I came across issue with profiles.One of our customer has been administrator
permissions and other application master permissions ,but he is unable to add
functional roles (add button is disabled) in people form .
We are using 7.6.04 SP3.

Having Admin permissions is not enough to add functional roles (if you are
using ITSM). He needs to have Contact Support Admin to modify roles of support

I think what you need to do is go to the Group form (not the support group
form) and find your Group ID number.
Change the Group Name to the Long Group Name (just the last part, the text).

Could anyone who has installed the AR System over Oracle, using the AR System
installer to create the database on Oracle give me a list of all the Roles and
System Privileges that are granted to the aradmin user by the installation
script?
Are there any other settings for the aradmin user
be in there.

If you're installing on a *nix box, there should be a .sql or .ora file in
the installation
