I have never used Open Office but here are some basics that it
sounds like you need
First I am going to assume that you are using KDE due to the fact
that it is very newbie friendly.
On the bottom of the screen near the left corner you should see a
icon that looks like a monitor with

machine is able to tell there is a winmodem installed but cant seem to work
with it even with the Lucent driver installed. Anybody got any Ideas as to

graphical installation, including adding the new partisions for
mandrake and adding the new boot loader for dual boot. Just
read all the instructions on all the installation screens and
use most of the default settings and you will probably not
have any problems.

Good Thinking Marc, but in fact most people do not want to run their own
