Hmmm - wonder if the DDS is oscillating where it should be? If you turn
off spur reduction, the DDS should be oscillating 11025 khz below the
frequency of interest. You should be able to hear the DDS on another HF
radio if you put its antenna (just some wire should do) near the SDR
1000.
Something isn't right. I listen to 660 AM and 1010 AM and other NYC
stations a lot and I never have a problem. Now the filters in front of
the QSD are not optimized for these LF and MF frequencies. If you

This is normal. What you are seeing is the AM station carrier beating
against the SDR (just like an analog receiver with the bfo on). If you
switch the SDR to SAM mode it will sync the SDR and the carrier and you will
have

Note: Even in SAM mode (and pressing the Zero Beat button) you may still
see this carrier in the spectrum.
