recently. After using the 1st CD
rescue option, and still getting a lilo failure, I booted a DOS
boot floppy and ran 'fdisk /mbr' (w/o the quotes) from the A:
prompt. That completely resets the MBR. Then I used to 1st
Mandrake CD to restore lilo and it was then successful.

competes favorably with a 3 GHz Intel P-4. BUT, even with Athlons,
very little if anything is gained by special compiler options.
